Successful Grant Writing 101: With unprecedented federal dollars being invested in community development, planning, and infrastructure, there is no better time to step into the world of grant writing. Contrary to popular belief, there is no real magic or special secrets to finding/applying successfully for grant funding. You CAN be a successful grant writer. In this entry level workshop, Becky will give you ways to prioritize projects, plan for grant funding, gather common information that will help you to be ready, and tips and tricks for competitive grant research and writing.

Becky has been successfully writing grants for 35 years, securing over $300 million in discretionary grant funds in the non-profit and government sectors and now for KLJ Engineering for large, transformational infrastructure and economic/community development projects. She is well versed in grant resources and most recently, has been focused on securing federal money being granted through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
