Grants 101:
While the federal grant landscape is shifting opportunity still exists for you to secure funding for key projects in your community. Despite these challenges, successful grant writing is a skill you can learn.

In this entry-level workshop, you'll learn how to prioritize projects for funding, prepare common documents that streamline your process, and plan ahead for both public and private grant opportunities. In addition to demystifying the federal grant process, this training also explores the growing role of private foundation grants as a strategic funding source for communities and organizations. You'll walk away with practical tips and strategies for writing compelling proposals in today’s funding environment.

Training Presenter:
Becky Rosenleaf brings over 35 years of successful grant writing experience, securing more than $300 million in discretionary funds across the nonprofit, government, and private sectors. Currently with KLJ Engineering, Becky focuses on transformational infrastructure and community/economic development projects. She is deeply familiar with today's complex funding landscape, including federal programs under ARPA and IIJA, and the expanding role of private foundation grants. Her insights come from decades of hands-on experience and a deep commitment to helping others find success in grant writing.
