International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Rural Retreat

Rural Retreat 2025 is coming up June 23–25 in North Central Montana — and it’s shaping up to be the biggest professional development event for rural communities in 2025.

Hosted by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), this three-day conference includes site visits, panel discussions, and immersive learning experiences focused on housing, infrastructure, energy, Main Street revitalization, tourism, business development, and workforce. Each evening offers informal opportunities to connect, learn, and share ideas with peers from across the country.
